Description
The rotavirus course is organized into nine sections and is a practical tool designed to aid health care administrators in making evidence-based decisions regarding vaccine introduction into national immunization programs. Will define rotavirus and its public health impact and how to determine disease burden in your country. Will presents why the immunization may be an appropriate control strategy for rotavirus and how it fits into overall disease prevention. Also will presents available vaccines and economic and cost considerations when making a decision about introducing the rotavirus vaccine. It presents the essential components for effective program implementation and how to advocate for informed decision-making regarding the rotavirus vaccine, and resources to support doing so and how to monitor and evaluate the impact of your immunization program.Details
