This course module includes a discussion about each country's international health situation according to the conceptual model, the existing problems and actors cooperation strategies in real learning situations. Its thematic units:Structure and objectives of the LIHP. LIHP Conceptual model and its potential as a tool for analyzing issues or problems related to international health, sociopolitical and economic contexts national, subregional and the region of the Americas, and its impact on health and development; Cooperation Strategy in the country (CCA-UNDAF and CCS), challenges and national and international actors involved, the PAHO / WHO: structure, mission, values, key mandates, technical cooperation, and the role of Representations country main lines of cooperation PAHO / wHO and other bilateral, multilateral, nongovernmental organizations and the private sector who exercise at country level; social determinants of health, primary care Renewed health, Millennium Development Goals and methodology research.
