This module brings information protecting the health and safety of health care workers. It presents the following sections:
routine infection control precautions for respiratory diseases, standard precautions, hand hygiene, indications for hand hygiene, precautions based on mode of tramission, use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and specific precautions for patients with a Suspected or Confirmed Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI), isolation and special measures for SARIs, selection of respiratory protection equipment and duration of infection control precautions. Also presents a video on the use of medicines.
