Improving labour-market participation of youth is a
common objective across most advanced economies.
Achieving this goal is critical to developing a strong
economy, as well as for ensuring the social cohesion and
inclusion of youth in society.(1) However, countries
around the world face the significant challenge of
ensuring youth have the skills they need to enter the
labour market and to get fulfilling jobs that make use of
their education.
