Este artigo busca fazer uma recuperação da área de gestão do trabalho no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), enfocando as discussões e a tese presentes, durante o processo anterior à 8ª Conferência Nacional de Saúde e ao longo dos últimos vinte anos. Enfocam-se eventos, instituições e atores sociais na dinâmica de estruturação do sistema, com suas contribuições ao campo. Destacam-se, ainda, a complexidade do processo, os avanços e as possibilidades.
This article aims to recover the work management area at the Health System focusing in the present discussions and thesis, during the previous process to the 8th Health National Conference, and along the last twenty years. The focus are in the events, institutions, and social actors in the system structure dynamic with their contributions to the field. We can still stand out the complexity of the process, the advances, and the possibilities.
